Welcome to the Crystal Clear China-Global Development Gallery of Mirror and Glass carvings from Mr. Liu Jun Jie.
These are pictures of just some of the mirror and glass carvings created by Mr. Liu. You will easily see that these are not factory knock-offs using decals, but artworks in their own right.
Mr. Liu uses an old technique for carving mirrors and glass and creates in both a "frosted" look and in color. The 3 dimensional appearance of these mirrors is due the technique used by Mr. Liu - he actually carves "backwards," from the back of the mirror. Mr. Liu also has a range of carved mirrors that have the carvings on the face of the mirror.
Each of Mr. Liu's mirror and glass carvings are unique; although the themes are fairly constant: birds, fish, flowers and plants; and he also does some landscapes, but these are primarily done on larger pieces of glass such as home entryways and shower-stalls.
Unfortunately, as with many of Mr. Liu's other creations shown on our website, all of the mirrors shown in this gallery have already found homes; but Mr. Liu will accept requests for orders through CCCGD. Please contact us if you would like to purchase one - or more - of Mr. Liu's creations.
If you have a special request - such as a carving in color for a shower-stall or an entryway or even something larger - please let us know the dimensions and the type of glass you would like to use and we will let you know how long it will take to create a unique piece of artwork for your home. All shipping is done in suitable packaging and by airfreight.
